What we talked about
- Aras Rabbit — our AI-powered studio for first-time-right delivery, spanning Rabbit Implementation Studio and its UX Magic accelerator, with the PLM Data Model Canvas that turns any Aras schema into a visual, collaborative design surface.
- Migration to Aras — our ETL Migration Framework with 15+ pre-built extraction adapters, a low-code transformation engine and data validation, cutting migration timelines by up to 40% across 2 billion+ records and 25+ enterprise projects.
- The Aras Integration Framework — low-code connections to ERP, MES, ALM and other PLM systems, built to stay maintainable rather than becoming the next legacy.
- User adoption as an engineering problem — the Rabbit User Experience Pack: self-service reporting, in-context help, mass edit, power search and configurable dashboards to cut clicks and dependency on IT.
- We also joined the Technical Summits at three stops, with rapid-fire sessions on integrated project management in Aras (Birmingham), solution design first-time-right with Rabbit (Frankfurt) and quick wins for user adoption through Rabbit UX Magic (Stockholm).
About Aras Connect Europe 2025
Aras Connect is Aras Corporation's regional roadshow, bringing subscribers, executives and industry experts together for a main conference day plus an optional half-day Technical Summit of rapid-fire demos and customer examples. The 2025 European tour ran under the theme "Connected Intelligence: AI, PLM, and the Future of Connectivity" across Birmingham, Paris, Frankfurt and Stockholm, part of a global series that drew over 1,500 attendees from 200+ organisations. SteepGraph sponsored all four European stops.
What we took away
- AI in PLM is being framed as intelligence, not automation. Across every stop the pitch was decision support inside the digital thread rather than replacing tasks — a more useful conversation to have with customers than last year's.
- InnovatorEdge is where the extensibility conversation now starts. The low-code API framework came up in every city, and it changes how we advise clients on extending the digital thread versus building bespoke.
- Regulatory pressure is now a PLM requirement in Europe. Stockholm's sessions on EU sustainability and compliance made clear that regulatory management is moving into scope for programmes that never considered it.
- Scale stories are doing the persuading. CERN in Paris, GRAMMER in Frankfurt, Tokamak Energy in Birmingham — customers are convinced by peers running hard implementations, not by roadmaps.
- The Technical Summit format works. Splitting a technical half-day off the main conference filled rooms with practitioners who wanted depth, which is exactly the audience our Rabbit sessions were built for.
